Question 1

What does the Certwicket owner workspace keep track of?

Accepted Answer

The owner workspace stores your contractor company context and the records you choose to save. Saved credentials can include licenses, insurance certificates, and permits, with a state-or-trade label, an expiry date, and an optional document attachment. Certwicket stores the information you provide; it does not verify, issue, create, or determine the official status of those records.

Question 2

How do reminders work?

Accepted Answer

Reminders appear in the in-app inbox for overdue credentials and for credentials expiring within the warning window configured for your workspace. You can open the record and mark a reminder as reviewed. Certwicket does not send or schedule reminder email; the reminder workflow is in-app only.

Question 3

What is included in a compliance packet?

Accepted Answer

A compliance packet is created in the workspace by selecting active saved credentials. It persists in your workspace and contains only the records you selected. You can download the packet as a PDF or share it through a read-only link; shared links can be revoked from the workspace.

Question 4

What do the Texas renewal and credential-preparation surfaces do?

Accepted Answer

The shipped Texas electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and roofing surfaces organize saved records and supplied research into preparation worksheets. They help you collect the details to review, while unsupported details remain unresolved. They are preparation tools, not approvals, renewals, or guarantees of compliance; confirm current requirements with the relevant authority.

Question 5

Does Certwicket submit renewals or decide what the government requires?

Accepted Answer

No. Certwicket does not submit renewals, licenses, permits, or other official government filings. It does not provide legal advice or decide official requirements. Review current instructions with the relevant authority before acting; the workspace and its preparation worksheets are informational organization tools.

Question 6

Where can I read Certwicket’s Texas research guides?

Accepted Answer

You can read the Texas plumbing license renewal research guide and the Austin roofing requirements research guide. They describe the supplied research and its gaps, not established requirements; Certwicket does not present either guide as an official checklist, approval, renewal, or filing instruction. Confirm current requirements with the relevant authority.

Know what Certwicket organizes — and what it does not decide.
